I think that what's been lost in translation is that he recommends that people not mince about 2-3lbs on a wheel weight on a street car, which I totally agree with. What I don't agree with is the fact that it doesn't hurt performance. These days, who really is buying the 300ZX as a "street" car? You make it as competitive as possible, because lets be honest, we have a lot of work to do just to make it on par performance wise with OEM cars nowadays. 10 small things like this add up. I'm of the school of thought that believes in cutting losses as much as possible. Whats interesting is that Modified Mag published that data, and there hasn't been much discussion on it. Hence me asking in my original post, directing it to the engineers, if there were any formulas we could be made aware of...alas no answer as of yet. Just noobs piling up the thread.
